    I had loved the song "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" for such a long time, but I never knew who the artist was. I asked numerous friends, but no one had a clue. Then thanks to Amazon, I found out the artist was Mel Carter. I bought this greatest hits CD just for this one beautiful song, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that all the other songs are just as good. Mel Carter's voice is superb. If you're a fan of Sam Cooke or Jackie Wilson, do yourself a favor and buy this CD.

    Mel Carter is still around, recently releasing a new gospel cd WILLING. He performs mostly in clubs, occasionally cruises, and private bookings. He can still dish it out as in Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me; Band of Gold etc. If you want to contact him at his FAN website: /red@mel-carter.com He has alot of facts about his life, and what is coming up for him. I think he is a great guy!

    Mel Carter has the smoothest, sexist voice around. I don't understand why he hasn't done more recordings on CD and hope that he will soon. Just marvelous to listen to this man.
