    5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, January 3, 2012

This is the Hunger Games in a song. It's haunting, beautiful and sad. I'm sure we can all think of many scenes that fit this song (I think of Katniss and Rue or perhaps Katniss and Prim). It's hopeful ("Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound") but it does acknowledge the realities of the world. ("Don't look out your window, darling, everything's on fire"). The melody is gorgeous. It's definitely not a typical Taylor Swift song and The Civil Wars (whom I had never heard of before this) are a great addition. For all Hunger Games fans, this is your song.

5.0 out of 5 stars Eerie, Haunting, Beautiful, January 3, 2012

This song grew on me really fast. It's got this extremely eerie feel too it that sends chills down my body. If you've read the book, it's very fitting for the story and I think this is a great new sound that Taylor has explored. I love it more and more!

I'm not a Taylor Swift fan whatsoever. Her songs are overplayed and too sweet for my taste. Yet, I can't stop listening to this song and I love it so much. I think it's almost a different style for Taylor Swift. It's more haunting than her fluff. But somehow it all works. Taylor Swift singing it, the soft melody of the music, the lyrics, the song, the movie-all of them together somehow make this a wonderful song to listen to. I almost want to say that this song makes the movie. If this is a hint of what the album is going to sound like, I think it's going to be just like the storyline of Hunger Games-a haunting beautiful tale.
